25 Lok Sabha & Rajya Sabha MPs Test Positive For Covid-19 On 1st Day Of Parliament’s Monsoon Session

The havoc of Covid-19 is currently at its peak in the country. In this sequence, big news has come out on the first day of the monsoon session of Parliament. 25 MPs including Meenakshi Lekhi, Anant Hegde, Pravesh Verma, Rita Bahuguna Joshi, and Kaushal Kishore have been found to be Corona positive.

Significantly, a lot of preparations have been made for the monsoon session. Vice President and Rajya Sabha Chairman Venkaiah Naidu and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla took review of all the preparations themselves.

According to sources, on the first day, 25 MPs of both the Houses have been found to be COVID-19 test positive. It is being told that 17 MPs are from Lok Sabha and 8 MPs from Rajya Sabha. BJP MPs are the highest among the Lok Sabha infected MPs, 12. At the same time, 2 MPs of YRS Congress and Shiv Sena each, one MP each of DMK and RLP have been found positive.

A situation of fear has also been created when so many MPs are found corona positive together within the Parliament. Let us tell you that social distancing rules are to be followed especially in this session of Parliament. The rules of social distancing are also being followed to seat MPs.

BJP MP from Delhi, Parvesh Verma has given information about his corona test report.

“I got the test done before the Lok Sabha session and the report came back positive. My health is completely fine, there are no symptoms. Please all those of you who have come in contact with me in the last few days, please isolate yourself and get yourself checked,” Verma tweeted in Hindi.
